Ever wondered what U.P. Math tests are like??!
It was just yesterday that I understood just how my classmates loathed Math subjects back in high school. (Oh my god..."back in H.S.", I can't believe it just has to be in past tense now.)
I took the APE (Advance Placement Examination) yesterday in Algebra and Trigonometry subjects. But sheesh, it was like the way I never had them before. I was so worried that my blue book was full of blank pages! And that I really wasn't sure of my answers. The Math 11 (algebra) test paper only had 3 pages and only 80 items. We took it for 2 whole hours (which wasn't even enough).
My mind must have drowned in oblivion due to the test's difficulty. I had forgotten the instructions. It stated that for every wrong answer, 0.5 points is deducted from the score. To hell with having forgotten that. I wonder what my score will be? God, it must have reached negative numbers!
I wasn't surprised at all when it was time for the second one, Math 14 (trigonometry). For instance, all classrooms were teeming with hopefuls during Math 11. By afternoon for Math 14, there were like only a bit more than half of the students who took algebra. Imagine that.
Wll, the bright side is...it's all over. But I'm not expecting anything.
Just hoping.J
